LUTH ex-CMD, Prof Olukoya lauds Omisore’s academic, professional approach to politics
The former Chief Medical Director, Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Prof Tolu Odukoya, has commended Senator Iyiola Omisore’s academic and professional approach to politics.
Senator Omisore, who is the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the September 22 governorship election in Osun State, recently came up with a five-pillar manifestos of his party, which he said would primarily focus on establishment of governance structure and human capacity development in the state.
Odukoya, in his commendation note sent to Omisore, on Thursday, on his aspiration to govern the state, lauded the Ife-born politician, on his maturity and scientific approach to politics, which he said, would be of immense benefits to Osun State people if he becomes the state governor.
He also praised Omisore, a former deputy governor in the state, on his generosity as well as his strong and genuine desire to govern Osun State.
“Iyi, I like the academic and professional approach you are applying to politics. Osun people will surely benefit from your wisdom, generosity and strong and genuine desire to govern Osun State,” Odukoya said.
He specifically expressed satisfaction about Omisore’s present political leaning, applauding him for dumping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying, “I am happy you are not in PDP.”
He, thereby, solicited people’s support for Omisore’s ambition, submitting that, “you deserve to be the next governor of Osun State, and I will continue to pray for you. Congratulations in advance.”
