Former Osun state governor and leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) Chief Adebisi Akande has told the former governor of Lagos State and APC National leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prepare his mind toward electoral defeat of APC in the September 22nd governorship election in the state.
Akande made this known this evening when Asiwaju Tinubu visited him in his Ila country home. Akande hinged his postion on how Oyetola emerged as APC gubernitorial candidate and how Oyetola had made it difficult for the party leaders in the state to reconcile the aggrieved party members after his emergence as the Party flagbearer.
He reminded Asiwaju Tinubu of what the people of Osun were clamouring for was how a West Senatorial governorship candidate will emerge but the deed has been done and nothing to do about it.He then admonished Tinubu to do all within his best to reconcile the aggrieved party members and leaders that are yet to leave the Party expecially, the Deputy Speaker,House of representatives, Rt Hon Lasun Yusuf
While responding Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu said the best candidate emerged through free and fair direct primary election and that zoning is alen to Nigeria constitution. He assured Chief Akande of his plan to reconcile with any of the aggrieved party members and leaders who is ready for peace.
He then assured Chief Bisi Akande that come what may be,the APC will win the forthcoming election by fire by force.
